Wanting to come to Folly soon to do some fishing. When does the shark bite usually start up on the north end of folly?

It will be slow until like the second or third week of may but sand tigers, sandbars and the rare coveted tiger shark will be in our waters in April but that is a low percentage lucky catch. I will be doing some surf and shark fishing early this year and will post results so check back March-April to se if there biting. If your coming from kind of far for just a shark trip definitely wait until the third week of April, if it was me I would wait till May. But in general 65 degree or better is good but early season its picks up at like 68 degree water and falls off at the end of the year at around 65 degree water. I do think we have sand tigers year round but that is just a thought, I might drop a line later this month to see if I can get a winter shark.
how far are you traveling from? granted im at the florida/georgia border but im catching them now where im at.
I’m from the northwest part of SC. About 4 hours from Savannah.

late april or may as others have said then. most important thing is to watch the water temps. usually when it hits about 70 you should start to see mostly reliable activity. well…as reliable as sharking gets anyways
put a nice sandbar on the beach today in very north florida. 63 degree water. ive been surf fishing 4 times this year so far and every time the shark rod at least got a bite. hopefully it continues for those back north in sc.
