Surf was ripping pretty bad. Could not fish outside the bar. 6oz pyramid rolled like a ball. Caught a few Whiting and added a new species to my “Surf” list. Weather was GREAT though!!!

I caught a spade fish as well in folly beach pier a while back… thanks for the report parker!

A Spade in the surf. Never caught one. That’s what I love about surf fishing… you never know !
Good on you for giving it a go on such a windy day !
