Don’t be a huge dbag because someone isn’t holding the fish the “proper way.” It’s stuff like this that’ll eventually make people stop posting because they’re getting patronized. If you start personally attacking someone, how do you think they will respond? I understand that there are “right and wrong” ways to hold a fish, but just because someone isn’t doing it correctly, doesn’t mean you have to jump down their throat. This is just my two cents, and I may just be ranting, but it’s just some food for thought.

Certainly could help explain the dearth of reports recently

What’s all this?

try & keep up curly. do i have to do everything for you?

every time somebody posts a nice report in here, the armchair fishermen who haven’t actually fished since 2007 come along and criticize the way the fish is being held, fish in sand, fish dried out, hands in gills, 40" spottail in cooler. that kind of thing. then the guys who post pics and reports get pist and quit posting. kinda like the inshore forum

Aw , every body take it easy. Could be worse , you could be a SC Gamecock fan like me…

Just listen to what 23 and Pee tell you to do and you’ll be fine! They are the last word on what’s good and bad on this site! If they don’t like what you posted, they will just Poof it and it will never see the light of day

Wasnt feeling that one had to go.

Someone was talking about that on the Demetre Park Redfish post on the Inshore Reports section. Guy holding the big redfish wrong, is that what you are referring to.

Mean old men do NOT like to be patronized!
We’ve seen so much of this stuff on the site over the years.
Every year a new crop of “experts” pop up like mushrooms after a Spring rain.

Man, had never read that before, seems alot to do about nothing. Agree with your point.

Couldn’t agree more. It gets old hearing all the scolding.
