Had a relaxed trip today. David and I went fishing just for fun and had a busy trip. In an hour and a half, caught 12 Spootails, a nice Sheephead, several small Black Drum and a Trout. All caught on “Fralin’s Fiddle Diddles” ($19.95 plus S/H).

All released except for two which we took to a friend who is a black chef. They were alive when we gave them to him, and he was afraid of them. Showed us how to clean a live fish using salad tongs. See picture below.

Hey Capt. Fralin, how much of a discount can I get if I buy those diddles by the case? Also, I need a guide on how to grab a fish with salad tongs! Not clean them…just grab them. I wouldn’t want to hurt the feelings of any of these “conservationists” by actually cleaning one of those fishy wishies.
