Went out fri night and gave it a shot, right off the bat by looking at water ( looked like a lake-no waves 0) and no wind I figured it wasnt going to be a great showing. The no see ums ate me alive. Didnt do to well and Grace was not happy, my dog. Couldnt get any mullet in my spot in the cast net so proceeded to roll with my back-up shrimp and start the food chain thing. I was shooting for fish and boy was that a mistake. The sharks were going nuts. I purposefully left the shark rigs at home and paid dearly. Must of had 8 solid runs and they bite through my mono like butta. I figured if I didnt have rigs-I had to redfish . Days tally couple of whiting, 1 2 ft shark, one black drum and one ray, STUPID. REAL STUPID.
