Was hoping to find some big reds from the beach near Fort Moultrie. From the parking lot, took a right and set up about 1/2 way to the next groin, facing Ft Sum.
Only had frozen bait to start (mullet and squid) but figured I could catch some whiting for cut bait or net some mullet. Never saw any mullet.
Put out 3 rods: 2 for reds, one with small squid pieces to catch whiting.
Caught a couple blue fish which I cut up for red bait, but got no love.
Finished the day with 3 blues and a ray.
