Friday Oct 8

Will be coming down next friday.Daughter and boyfrend making plans for wedding next october. Just married off the baby girl september 25.Planning on bringing my boat to fish while they look to spend whats left of any money I thought I had left.
Fish around Georgetown mostly any advice on where to fish and catch bait would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any info. Not looking for any hot spots just a good starting point.

Bait is everywhere right now, put in at Steamboat landing. To the left, just about right across from the landing, there are plenty of shrimp, on the right go down to about across the Gazebo and there are tons of shrimp. For fishing , look for the shell banks or try the docks in and around Russell Creek, fish for ten minutes and if you catch nothing move on to the next spot, you will catch fish.
