Took the opportunity on a gorgeous day to get one more day of fishing in before the freeze kicks in. Spottail bass were scattered and either over or under the slot. Usually they are multiple fish caught at the drops but not this day. Lots of 12-13" trout which is good, but they were scattered too. Talked to several other folks who struggled a bit. All caught on artificials fished slow and on the bottom. I’m thinking the dolphin have been scattering these fish. It’s that time of the year.
Sorry, I forgot to give temp and clarity. Water still 54-55 degrees and clear. Good bit of trash floating.
