fripp island info

Wife wants to spend a couple nights on Fripp at the end of this month. Looking at VRBO.com with rentals and kind of dont want to deal with them. anyone have a rental place out there or know someone who has one? will be 3 adults and 3 children. all are local Ladys Island residents.

also, how is russ point for overnight parking? considering leaving the trailer and / or boat there overnight if we do not have a spot to park it.

I don’t have a rental but have rented a lot there.

I would not leave my rig at Russ Point. I would leave it at the marina if no room at your house. I always rent a slip and leave trailer in the parking lot. It’s not cheap but it’s super convenient especially when the family is down. Easy for me to run out and fish then cruise back in,grab lunch and go right back with family for example. You have to rent from someone who is a member of the club though to do this. But even if you don’t get a slip if it’s not real busy you could probably still leave the trailer with the others in the parking lot with no issue.

thanks for the heads up! i was really concerned about both leaving the boat and trying to negotiate the island with it on a trailer. 2 nights dockage was a bit ridiculous with the prices.

after looking at everything they nickel and dime you for, i think we will just go to St. Augustine for the weekend.

We have a place at fripp. Http://www.frippandfall.com if you stay on fripp you can park your boat at marina there for $15/day. Our house is on canal with dock too but can only access at high tide due to skinny water in the cut through and we give renters amenity card as part of the deal so they don’t get nickel and dimed
