Fun in the Fog...

I haven’t posted in quite a while. I (carefully!) fished Tuesday in the pea soup. Had to charge up my DOA glow shrimp so trout could see it, but caught ten or so on the outgoing including a couple about 17". Seems to be a good redfish bite almost every time I go out on minnows and VuDu.

A lot of slots and their bigger friends came out to play Tuesday…lost count of how many reds, but likely around 20. Took a lunch break 'til tide started back in and caught a few more including another 28" fish before pulling out about an hour past low. Had to take that lunch break 'cuz was having so much fun with the reds, the boat suddenly was no longer rocking on top of the oyster bar…lol. Thankfully it was almost dead low and I didn’t have to wait long. Forgive the pics…I had to do the self-timer thing on the IPhone.

Another great December outing in St. Helena Sound! Happy New Year All!

Nice… thanks…

Great pics!! Curious, are you “charging” up a glow in the dark shrimp?

“If Bruce Jenner can keep his wiener and be called a woman, I can keep my firearms and be considered disarmed.”

yes Fred…the DOA will glow if you charge it under the light…
