FSU in a close one, 45-10!!!

The first one is funny but so sad. I watched the last game and the stadium was half filled. Sad. You have a top 10 team and you cant sell tickets.

It’s why Miami will never compete for another championship… Sad

Does anyone know how far the stadium is from campus?

Funny, I just saw an article in The State that said attendance at ACC stadiums was down to 85% of capacity. Only Clemson and VT filled their stadiums. I can’t believe FSU doesn’t fill theirs. All the others are not a surprise.

Around 20 miles and has about 10,000 undergraduate students.

The Old Orange Bowl was a cool place. No wonder they can’t get anyone to the games

I think the major reason is too many sports options.

7 FBS schools in the state and 12 professional sports venues.

Add to that the Miami nightlife and you begin to understand why even the Heat, Dolphins, and Marlins have trouble filling stadiums, let alone a college.

I don’t try to criticize their fans down there. It’s like a foreign world to us southerners.

A coworker of mine is from Miami but went to UF. He said because Miami is a smaller, private school they have less alumni and a lot of them aren’t from the area and they don’t stick around. As a result, they just don’t have a big local fan base, even when they’re good.
