Let me say this slowly…
Clemson was #1 and Bama was #2 at the time of the football NC. Number 2 beat number one. The Lady Gamecocks were #2 in ranking playing against the #1 team in ranking. The Lady Gamecocks didn’t win as the underdogs like Bama did in the #2 spot as the underdogs based on ranking. Therefore, UNFORTUNATELY, it didn’t work out for the Lady Gamecocks as it did for the Crimson Tide as both being underdogs based on ranking at the time the game was played.
