Yea winning everything is the goal but getting to the final is the first step. The Tide do have a pretty firm grip on the top but nothing like UConn. In WBB the whole field is basically playing for second place.
Also exposure is pretty important though. I would be willing to bet Clemson got a fair bit more than the coot women.

Agreed. However, when you look at the SEC as a whole over the last 10-15 years in NCAAF it is much like UConn WBB with every other conference playing for 2nd place.
