If you haven’t heard of this kid from Rock Hill yet, you will.
Jadaveon Clowney is a man amoung boys at the high school level. He is currently considering Alabama and South Carolina as well as a few other schools.
His highlights are worth a watch. I haven’t been excited over a potential recruit like this one…since…well since Marcus Lattimore, but before that, it was a long long time ago.
Kids is a beast. Good luck on that one. It’l be intresting to see what he does. Stay close to home or go to Bama where he’s always going to be on a team that is in consideration for the big title.
There must be a ton of talent among recruits this year if a kid with that kind of burst and talent is that far back.

Wasn’t trying to be petty, just explaining why we are so excited about a 50% chance of scoring this guy. He has a teammate on the D-line who is pretty solid as well I believe. USC has a good connection with that school – both Holloman and Gilmore went there. We’ll see…
Actually his head coach is a big Tiger fan but Carolina seems to have a nice tradition of getting RHill boys going way back. I went to N Western when Carol(S.Pointe head coach) was an assistant and he was a mess. Now my nephew goes to S Pointe and everyone says JD will be a COCK.
It doesn’t hurt the Gamecock’s chances that Clowney was at the Alabama upset game in Columbia and saw it in person either…he would make am immediate impact as a freshman too.
I saw him play on a couple of games ESPN broad casted, he is awesome and whomever gets him will be really happy. The other guy at South Pointe is Gerald Dixon. His Dad played at USC so I am hoping that will help the Cocks when the time comes.
He is a five star on 247, ranked number 12 overall (#1 WDE).
Be nice to pull in another dominant DE. These past two years have spoiled me (two years ago Clowney was backing up Melvin Ingram… good grief that is ridiculous).
