GATOR & SHARKS - UDC - 6/9/14

Pulled up to one of my Redfish holes and Luke spotted a 7-8 foot gator. In 25 years, I have never seen a gator that far up in salt water.

We fished for a little while, and decided to go for sharks and Whiting.

Ten year old Luke, caught and released the nice 4 foot Sand Shark.

Kept 2 Sharpnose Sharks and some Whiting for supper.

We have a dock on Big Bay near the oyster mound. I have never seen a gator until last week right across from the oyster mound. One of the kayak guides said she saw one in Big Bay for the first time in 10 years. DNR told her they will do that if they are ill. Not sure if it is the same one but looks like the same size.
