I will be heading to Edisto for a single day’s fishing on Tuesday. We have a boat but won’t be hitting the water until tide is about 1/2 way up in the morning. Plan to fish until close to low tide. Looking for some general advise on where to fish, no private hot spots, just general advise. Would love to pick up a few trout or reds. Know the area a little bit and have a chart. Thanks.

I am the last man that can offer fishing advice, but we were down this weekend and there are some fish being caught.
Some folks even found some shrimp for bait at low tide.
Edisto Marina only had mud minnows for sale - and dead bait, of course.

Thanks JimBoyd. We have a cast net but will probably miss the low tide on Tuesday. I have plenty of frozen shrimp and will pick up some minnows at the marina. Plus, I have a good assortment of Trout Tricks and other plastic. No mater what happens, it will be a good day. Weather is good and I will be fishing with my brother and an old high school friend.
