Dangit Shea, That looks like brand new!

I know someone that is retiring this week that just bought a home on Hilton Head.

I think this will be just what he wants.

That would be awesome!

Yea, I think for a used boat you would be hard pressed to find a cleaner one. Lots of people claim “fully detailed”. Nah buddy, not like this. Zero rust. If there was rust on a bolt/nut/screw, it got replaced. No markings. Hardly any corrosion on the aluminum t-top. Very little wear/tear on the floor. Very few marks and zero stains on the hatches. Seats are in pretty good shape. Everything works. Everything is reliable. Clean as a whistle and runs like a champ.

I hate to see it go, but it’s just not the boat for me unfortunately!

Hey, I’m curious, what prop are you running to get 57? I have the same set up but cant get that much top end on it…thanks

To be honest, I’m not entirely sure. I’d assume it’s the standard prop that came with the 225 in 09 because I haven’t changed it. For what it’s worth, because I don’t know what year yours is… The yamaha f225s built before 08 only churn out about 195 hp. They changed the bore in 08 to remedy that. Other than that, I see the most notable speed on glass with the wind in my back playing with the trim tabs. When I’m really getting on it, the tabs make the most difference. It is fastest when the white water is directly under the Sailfish logo.

Thanks! I did the cushions myself. Many YouTube videos, lots of cussing, and several pricked fingers… But I pulled it off.

Hey, 23Sailfish. I’ll do you one better. These are the videos that I found to be the most informative:
How-To Video One (Vinyl Dining Room Seats)
How-To Video Two (Jet Ski/Motorcycle Seats)
How-To Video Three (Hilarious, but informative)
Here is where I bought the supplies:
Straight Needles
Curved Needles
Thread
Vinyl Dye (In case you have a spot that just needs touching up)
Marine-Grade Vinyl
Carpet Tape (For the inside seams)

Honestly man, it’s a lot more daunting on paper than it truly is in application. You’ll need a heat gun FOR SURE, some stainless steel staples (if you’re made of money, regular old staples if you aren’t), a heavy-duty (preferably air) staple gun, a good razor blade, lots of beer, and a really flat but sturdy screwdriver. At first, you’ll also think you need a skirt and some dainty, cotton laced thong underwear. After you’re finished, however, you’ll realize how much of an accomplishment it is, and you’ll laugh at the haters doubting your masculinity because of needle a

Wow…someone (unfortunately not me) is going to be very happy with a very well taken care of boat.

1 question…where did you get the under t-top storage pouch? Been looking for something exactly like that but cannot find one anywhere. I have a t-bag already in front of my electronics box but need a mesh one like that for more storage.

Appreciate any help.
