Just read Georgetown County will probably be next to ban Surfishing in summer daytime hours. And again stating “safety for swimmers from sharks and other dangerous creatures”.
If you target Sharks from the beach, good for ya. I personally don’t get it??? But if you are on the beach in the middle of the day dragging 6’+ Sharks onto the sand, you are an Idiot. SHARK FISH AT NIGHT, please. I grew up fishing Horry County beaches, banned. Georgetown is next. You Shark fishing dumbwits are going to ruin beach fishing.
Oh yeah…I fished this past Sunday. Some nice Whiting a couple Blue fish and about a 20" Speck. No Sharks, sorry.
