Hey, looking to go to Georgetown on the 19-21. Wondering who is catching and what is being caught, particularly in the Georgetown/Pawleys area. Thanks for the input guys.
Going to Pawleys tomorrow. Hope to catch some trout and reds.

Caught 2-3 pound blues today and a 25lb stingray on light tackle. Tried popping cork with vudu shrimp and something grabbed it, but spit it out. Fun time today

Thanks for the response fellas. Jameswestersc… Id love to meet up with a fellow angler. Im in the Columbia area so i dont get to come down that often. Usually when i do though i bring my father along but hes got the bug just as bad as i do so itll all be good. Ill PM and let you know when i come down that way. Do you fish pawleys often?

Sounds good. I fish Pawleys at least twice a month. I live in Myrtle Beach so I stay close to home alot. The jetty in garden city/Murrells inlet is a great place to fish, but the north access is blocked due to a safety hazard. The south jetty can be accessed, but it is a 1.5 mile walk with no restroom access. I’m going back to Pawleys on Saturday if the wind is not bad. I will let you know if/what we catch.
We just started going to pawleys this year and when we do, we normally fish the south end. Its a bit of a trek hauling all of our rods, reels, tackel, etc… and even though we really dont catch much, its worth it just being on the water. We go about halfway down and set up shop. As i said we never really catch much except tons of baby sharks over the summer, one good sized black tip, and a couple sting rays and blue fish.
Blues and around 10 large stingrays. The rays are setting up in the inlet on incoming tide. No small rays either…weighed between 15-25lbs.
