We will be there with every other boat out of the Lowcountry. It has been nice to have good offshore weather on the weekends. It think it was June last year before there was a nice weekend day to fish. Good luck to everyone heading out tomorrow.

I’ll be down around 226 . I’ll be standing by on 68. My. Boats name is bluewater

beanbags and Preparation-H

Right read on the weather. We were hammered on the way out.

Thanks to vessel At Last for letting us sneak out behind them. 3-4s at the ledge in our teeth at 7-8:00 AM.

We boated one skip jack tuna,14 fins and missed a blue between 800 and 1500 ft.

We would have turned back at 7:00 if we didn’t have a trail blazer to follow.

Wish we had cancelled too, 2-3 on the chin for 2hrs. Luckily the wife was in her bean bag & didn’t care. Never found the weedline, but there was a 74 to 76 deg. break south of Edisto Banks.

I Didn’t see a 3 foot wave all day! Ran out of GT at 35kt! Ocean was great:smiley:

^ theres alway 1 in every crowd…

I am being serious must have been rougher south!

It really wasn’t rough,it just was short stacked head sea…east wind…we were trying to figure out a way to describe it and the best description we came up with was sloppy…all this is relative to the small boat club 26 ft and under…it probably felt fine to 30 over club.

It was still pretty bumpy in an “over 30” boat.

We managed 34mph on the way out and 40 coming home. My crew was drooling in the bean bags and never knew a thing.
