I saw these big guys everywhere in Florida while diving but this was my first time spotting one around here. He wasn’t too big and had stayed in the wreck the whole time, but it was cool to see one.

Awesome shot. There is one living at one of the 90 ft reefs out here in Charleston. Looks like you were running pretty shallow though. Defiantly a rare sight around here. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks man. We were about 70’ deep and 25 miles off shore. I’m glad they are rare around here, some of the reefs in Florida are so packed with them all other fish have been eaten.
