Kinda looks like the weather is going to be nice. Anyone doing any good in the surf? Any sign of mackerel off the beach? Reds, Trouts, Flounders biting?

well struck out today, caught a small stingray and 2 small spottails in the north edisto today out of steamboat landing. And had 1 break off, couldnt turn it. Lots of bait available, had live shrimp, finger mullet and even caught a small squid. Just couldnt get on em today. Will try again tomorrow, but was still better than going to work!
Going to try in the surf at dark with some of these finger mullet and shrimp I had left over. Maybe that will bring me luck.
finally got on some fish today, several small trout, got a few whiting and more rays. Lots of bait in the creeks but I cant seem to get on the big trout or spottails. Been trying live bait under a popping cork at different depths, live finger mullet in the bottom in a fish finder rig. Wind made it hard to fish today but worked it for the whole incoming tide after I caught bait.
Fished the surf with same results, a small trout or two and small whiting.
