Left my dock @ 6:30 this morning with my fishing buddy Graham on board. Arrived @ the Edisto 40 around 8am. The ocean had a light chop with scattered white caps. Trolled 2 clark spoons on #2 planers and a small Drone silver spoon behind a 2 0z. trolling lead. We had our first spanish mackerel around 8:30. Over the next 2 hours we landed 15 more spanish. Several times we had 3 fish on at the same time. The fish were average size, 15" to 18". Bird activity around the fish was spotted-some fish were caught with no birds in sight and only once did we see a school feeding on top.
