Nothing really to post, but I went,so I’ll post. Took Long Enuff and the Mrs. Amanda in hopes of catching some cbass and such for an upcoming fish fry. The weather was great and the ocean was super slick from mid-morning to dark. We fished and scouted depths of 70-105ft. We saw tons on life, from numerous sea turtles to leaping sunfish to a floating boat rudder.As the day drew nearer to ending, I decided to “test” out some newer spinning rigs I got and wasn’t disappointed as they withstood aj after aj after aj. I was surprised on one occassion, though . Ended up bringing in 3 limits of cbass (13-15") and a few of their friends. Another great, safe day on the water. Thanks Bill and Lynn for the company and help!

We didn’t find the “hawg” c-bass, but we got plenty of meat!
Had a blast with the good sized AJs. The surprise was Andy catching a nice groupa on the jig.

Nice Grouper there Andy. Were ya’ll catching the BSBs on the jigs too? Love those jigs, I seem to do better with those than the chicken rigs. At least I don’t catch as many sea rats (shark) jigging. Sounds and looks like ya’ll had a pretty good day. Nice post…I’m jealous!
Hey andy I got that same color jig but have not had a bite on it yet. How do you hold your mouth when jigging?

but i’m confused here, was this a two boat deal. Miss amanda is a boat and i see lynn on the deck but Got2go post. Were you guys on the miss Amanda the tiny fish killing machine or another boat.

Nice fish, Did that thing floating look like a piece of a plane, There was a F-18 from the air station that crashed off of edisto about a week or so ago.
Hey andy I got that same color jig but have not had a bite on it yet. How do you hold your mouth when jigging?
I seem to have the best luck using those glow jigs, or the lighter colors. I have that same color myself and have not had many bites either. Maybe it’s because I hold my mouth like this:stuck_out_tongue:

It could have been. On the back side/the part furthest under the water, there was what appeared to be a clevis where a cylinder should have hooked to it. Who knows? A little after we called the CG, we seen a decent sized boat/ship head that way and stop. I’m sure they got it out of the water. I would hate to hit that or anything…
