Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit around with his buddys drinking on the beach for hours !! ><((((º> J

Some time back towards the end of winter a charter capn. was fishing the tire reef for bsb and had big shark up around the boat. Word was it was a great white and there were pics just thought I might post to see if he might share the pics but I guess not…All the big ship traffic coming into port these days could have clipped one of the right whale calves or mother and brought the shark in who knows just a guess.

Hope this has been helpful to the wtf crew and thanks for posting.

Ahhh… ok I see. And as for the charter boat capt …If he did have pic of him bringing a Great white I wouldnt post those pics either… Keeping a great white is A BIG</font id=“red”> here in SC and [:0] GA.

Right, lets clarify one more time. First of all, nowhere in this post does this say anything about landing, hooking, catching, a great white it does say that a large shark was around the boat. Second point to this post, the skipper is fishing for bsb(black sea bass) I know they got a little fight to them but I usually leave my internationals home for this trip just to keep it a little sporty. Big fish Little reels just don’t mix do they?? Great post hammerhead, thanks a lot for staying with it, hope this helps. Catch lots of fish or drink lots of buddies or whatever it is you boys do over there.

It’s called english. Learn it, love it, live it.

A group of words together forms a sentence, one complete thought.

Take tylenol for any headaches, midol for any cramps.

Congrats and have a spectacular day.

We saw a large great white in 2000 at the anchor ledge, which is about 30 miles off of St. Catherines. You can look up the story and one of the photos by going to Savannah Now posted March 11, 2000. We caught some crap about the size of the shark but we will all still tell you it was over 22 feet long. No 80 wide is going to beat that shark as I would estimate well over 3000 pounds. Anyway it was awesome and I have no doubt they are around every winter.

I can attest from the picture and hearing the story first hand that the GW Chris and Eric saw at the Anchor Ledge was 22 ft. and them some. “I think we’re going to need a bigger boat” comes to mind!
