Great night on Sullivan's Island

Conditions were great and after getting skunked Thursday night it was nice to get some big ones on the sand. First one hit after soakin for less than 30 minutes…

Measured at 96" (male lemon shark)

It wasn’t but about 5 minutes later that our other Rod started screaming…

85" Charleston Bull Shark!!! Great fight
Literally minutes later…

82" Female Lemon. Totaling for 3 sharks over 80" all within 2 hours!!!

Crazy part is we had our biggest bite of the night shortly after that which was pulling 40lbs of drag with ease. Ended up snapping the line from the pressure. Overall great night of fishing.

Here’s a pic of one of our baits (barracuda):

What size hook is that?

20/0 stainless steel

You guy’s slayed it. Incredible evening with that bull. Good for you, and thanks for sharing those pics. Are you still using straight braid to a swivel-then metal liter? Holy CHIT Fishy.

1,200 yards of 100lb braid to a swivel connected to a 15’ shark rig (10 foot of 500lb mono and 5 foot of cable)

Nice catch!! Did you cast the bait or kayak it out?

All caught on yaked baits…

Where were y’all at? We were out at 30th street.
