Yeah man, when I read that Mary Lee was pregnant and that her babies would be born 4 feet long and ready to go I thought it would be cool to catch one in the surf.

id think they may have a hand full of times before but people either not reporting it or not on camera…just my guess though.
I think a member of the military was killed at that same beach a few years back. I think I remember seeing the report on shark week and it was a 15 foot Great White.

I’m thinking maybe Greats are upper water column feeders. So fishing on the bottom reduces your chances. I aint no biologist, may have read that once. Remember JAWS, the old guys on the dock used a car inner tube and a 10lb roast.
