Tell my children the same thing every Christmas. My daughter is 22 & my son is 25, and we still emphasize Jesus every Christmas morning.

Thanks ya’ll. God offers each and every one of us a “free ticket”, bought and paid for by Jesus, to an eternity safe in His arms. God loves us and wants the best for us, but He will not force us to choose Jesus. This gift is worth much more than any lottery. Who would turn down a “free gift” from a lottery? Yet, many refuse God’s gift, and therefore choose an eternity (a very, very long time) in the arms of a being who will inflict unimaginable suffering and torment on them with no way out. Forgive me for “preaching”, but this is one of the few times of the year when people think about the significance of the “gift” that God offers to us.
