Is no one catching or have you all just tired of posting pictures of all those fish? or did everyone just go back to work this week?

Well Folly Pier decided they do not want to be open for fishing and close before 7PM 7 days a week. So fishing isn’t even possible anymore…

I haven’t had a chance to get back there lately. Hopefully soon…

I have had no luck in the surf the last several weeks, but my neighbor’s dock on the Folly River has had nonstop action. Redfish, flounder, trout, and black drum like crazy. All on live finger mullet, cut finger mullet, and live shrimp.

No kidding, I got out there after fishing the lighthouse for a few hours on Friday, only got a few small skates. Threw my first cast, within 5 minutes I was told to reel in. Kind of ridiculous that they close so early this time of year, guess they only cater to tourists. Very disappointing, wish there was some way to have an impact on their operation.

Yes even though it’s still called Folly Beach FISHING Pier they might as well just call it Folly Beach Tourist pier cause that’s all they seem to care about unfortunately. I hope they gave you a refund!
