Our ranking was solidified by having the most defensive draft picks. Nobody else had as many nor two first rounders.
Know it hurts you cock fans who always prided yourslefs on defense but could never finish #1, even though you play in the SEC who is always weak on offense.
Good for CU for stepping up on Defense. There is no doubt they are better than they were 3 years ago.
I always love these silly things. The thing about this one is not about the good offense you played as it is about the bad offenses you played. If your team played a few bad offenses it could completely skew the results.
So you play wofford and their offense sucked and the QB was very inaccurate. That 1 game of TFL, Sacks, INT and Pass knock downs would heavily skew the results.
I’m not taking anything away from CU, just that there is more ways to skin a cat.
As Shevy pointed out CU had several NFL players on the defense last year and it showed.

Truth hurts. There isn’t a bit of hate about it, when your team is 6-6 with one of the worst defenses in the nation, finish outside the top 50, you are one of the crappy teams.
