High and Dry charters?

I’m going to go ahead and clear this up. I accidentally ran aground. Luckily the tide was almost low, and I did not have to sit there for too long. I was able to get another captain to pick up my clients. They did not get charged the full price, and it was near the end of the trip. They caught quality fish and had a great time. They have already booked me again in the summer.

It was a mistake. Thankfully everyone was safe, there was no harm to the boat, and I now know where I can and can not go in that creek.

Yes I do have a Clemson education. That is what gave me the ability to buy that boat with no loans. It’s called hard work not daddy’s money. That’s a 2006 boat. They tend to stay nice when you maintain them correctly (especially keeping the sides good and clean when you have some spare time haha).

I appreciate all the social media attention. I have had people call and book charters with me because of all the posts even though my boat was a beached whale! Thank you for the free advertising!

See everyone on the water! Hopefully not from a sandbar this time

Smells like butt hurt in here.

I might need a “BAND*” Aid

Ha Ha Ha, too much! And captain it happens just hope nobody is around with a camera when it happens to me. lol

2005 Sea Hunt 212 Triton
“Head East”

It even happens to the “Mafia” boats too ,that one was more classic.

Always hug the slips in that area and you will be fine

Classy response Capt, well done.

May all your favorite bands stay together…

I thought pathfinders were the best boats ever and would float in spit. Must be the extra weight from the tower… The kid on the cooler seat looks absolutely ashamed to be on that boat. What a rough day.

You really think he booked a bunch of charters from the exposure?

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.

I have no idea. Although you frequently act like a clown and continue to make bank on charters…just sayin.

I’d like to add that I like when charter captains aren’t so serious about themselves. You get to fish and entertain people for a living; enjoy it. I think we’ve all kind of learned over the years that if you can’t laugh at yourself from time to time…you’re probably just a jerk and no one will ever like you.

I still say he has a nice tower! That at least, shows he’s trying to be the best he can be! Some people wouldn’t go the extra mile and pay for their customers best experience! He did and it shows in his work ethic, cleaning the boat! Make lemonade out of lemons!

Questions for fritz does he fish the same areas/“your spots”, is he a direct competitor, does he affect your business because you are definitely affecting his. If so I understand the putting him on blast, it just seems a few of your recent post seemed kind of like hate post without much else to offer. I understand the other guy has a bad rep but this guy seems to be genuinely a better guy or maybe I have not heard of his shenanigans. TO me its all good to put a Joe regular/weekend warrior up like this for entertainment and warning to others but to do it to someone who it is there profession especially since y’all are in the same profession and you know how tuff it can be and how things happen, is bad sportsmanship. Unless he’s stepping on your toes in some way it seems a little much. Sorry if I come across aggressive or offensive toward you I am just wondering if there is more to the story because I feel a little bad for the guy. I know I have been stuck once or twice gambling on the tide.

“Kleenex, The Official Sponsor of Fishb8”

That’s a standup thing to do, coming here and fessing up. Good for you.

“I ran aground on a sandbar the other day behind IOP, which I’m sure every other guide in Charleston has done at some point. It has come to my attention that some other captains are circulating photos and posting pics on Facebook and other websites. If you’ve got something to say to me, man up and say it to my face!”

so if the real capt fessed up then why did Capt Patrick try to claim it as his? this place does really remind me of a soap opera quite often…sometimes I guess maybe I’m to blame too though :imp:
