Looking to fish Sullivan’s island around station 29. I know there are some huge tidal pools there but was wondering what it looks like at high tide. Do those pools connect to the ocean at high tide or is there still dry sand between them and the ocean? Also, if there is a dry place to fish the ocean at high tide, how complicated is it to get back to your car at high tide? Is it even possible? Thanks for the help!
Fish in those tidal pools at high tide and on the back of the sandbars faving the ocean at low… Remember as the tide is coming back in the trough you had to walk through to reach the sandbar will be getting much deeper. Make sure youre comfortable swimming back through it to shore if you stay til the sandbar is submerged again.
