Anyone have any preference as to what they like better? Does it just depend on the location? Gonna try out Pitt St. and Shem Creek today and just wondering when to go.
In the surf, I’ve always had better luck with incoming. That said, early this spring I had better results the last two hours of incoming. Since May though, I’ve had better luck incoming mid-tide. If you hit a bad longshore, the last few hours of incoming can be tough. Ran into that quite a bit lately. Not much fun. Inshore, the last couple of hours of outgoing has been much more productive for me. Of course, I’m without a boat, which means I’m fishing from a dock, so I have to hope the fish come to me. I can’t chase them.
