Got the next two days off, trying to decide where but some where between Edisto and IOP.
Conditions look pretty good thinking of taking large top water rig and give it a try in the surf, anybody ever do that?
I’m in Edisto now. Fished the beach yesterday and today in the afternoon. Outgoing tide.
Good news you can fish anywhere you want. There were very few people, saw less than 10 all afternoon.
Bad news there is even fewer fish. One 3 ft shark and a hand full of small whiting. The storms have leveled the beach, couldn’t find anything that looked like it would hold fish.
Gonna try the far south end near the river tomorrow. Hear they were catching some bull whiting down there. No reports of the big reds yet.
