We. Had a stellar day on “lake” Atlantic. Everywhere we dropped baits from 100’-180’ we found hungry fish. B-liners were fat in 100’ and we quickly limited out with footballs. We took advantage of the slick ocean and ran to the. Ledge. After weeding through 3000 amberjacks, we managed to put a few scamps in the boat. After catching a couple of lionfish I dropped down al live cigar minnow and was rewarded with a first for me , an Alpha Hogfish! What a fight on the penn bluewater carnage rod! I had been fighting AJ’s all day, this fish had shoulders! We also got a nice dolphin on a popper.

Nice catch Paul, we shot one last year that broke Phins state record but it had a hole in his head, rare to hook one though.Hogs primary diet is Lobster and Crab making it one of the best eating. Need to contact Realfish01 for his Hog stuffed Lobster Recipe. Appropriate I’m thinking.
I never figured Paul as a glove wearing kind of guy.
