And you aren't banned. Obviously you did not understand who I was referring to. [/quote]

I know who you meant. With a clue like that any one that’s been on this sight for a bit should have no doubt. Good guy, haven’t spoken with him in a bit.

I just might kick back and have a pb, banana & and honey samwich this weekend. Been awhile.

Fritz, those do look authentic.

Wando, You going to be giving any away this year or will you or any of those 19 bee keepers willing to sell some?

19 hives or so with three folks caring for them.

I don't write many fictional rants. But good for you. I have enough friends anyway! Block me again. I don't need you.

Many? You investment advice…oh never mind.

RWL,

Let you know when we harvest. Mid summer

Thanks Wando

RWL… Go by A&R Sheetmetal on Main Road, John’s Island. Mr. Crosby has great honey, and reasonable prices. Kathy keeps some there at the shop; I don’t know if they do the farmers market.

Got honey? I do.

What you gonna do with all that honey? Any interesting ideas/recipes/uses?

Next time you come in, come heavy, or not at all…

You are going to get Diabetes.

Gifts for friends. It's just a hobby a friend dabbles in a little bit.

Fritz, I think that’s beautiful! I’ve been looking into bee hives and honey making myself, just a little worried about handling the bees. Fish, I know how to deal with, bees I’ve still got a lot of learning to do. But I think that’s very cool :sunglasses:

Gotcha. I love honey, but I just don’t think to use it or experiment it with that often.

One way I like to eat honey is in oatmeal. After I cook my oats with butter and salt, I add honey, cinnamon, and chopped apple. Very tasty and healthy.

If you’re lucky enough to be fishing, you’re lucky enough.

Looks good Fritz! That’s what I do too Surf.

“Big Bees” Honey - Johns Island, SC - What makes our fried chicken so delectable? Robert Biggerstaff, owner and operator of “Big Bees” Honey has given us the best honey possible so that we can continue the tradition of quintessential southern cuisine.

He is on Johns Island near the Limehouse Boat landing (Location of the Bees)

Mr. Crosby’s for A&R is also on Johns Island off Chisolm Road.

The local honeys are supposed to help with pollen allergies.

Thanks for the honey Fritz.

Whoa…

Sorry about the size…

maybe not, unless you want to go to the dark side and bring in fire ants[:0] I hate that they are so intelligently designed to be such a pain in my arse.
