I plan to fish for trout or redfish Saturday morning, it looks like it will be high tide. I have only fished low tide. What kind of spots do you fish at high tide? How do you fish them?
If flood tide look for tails and wakes and fish doa, gulp or mudder on a jig in the sparse grass. If not flood tide look for the grass with broken edges - not a solid smooth bank. Same baits or a shrimp or mudder on a popping cork. Also around and over oyster mounds and creeklets coming into the bigger creeks. Don’t pass up under a good dock with lots of shell on the piles. (old docks) Great place to soak a shrimp or mudder on a carolina rig.

Thank you for the info! Not to sound stupid but what do you mean by “grass with broken edges - not a solid smooth bank”?
