Praying for the safety of all the people on the east coast. Praying also for the safety of all the shelter and rescue workers. May God wrap His arms around each of you with comfort and protection in the name of Jesus Christ! Amen! Psalm 91

Being on the water is a blessing, catching fish is a bonus!
If you’re on Facebook, follow the Edisto Police Dept. They have posted a lot of pictures from around the island. It’s a mess, and I’m sure the pictures don’t do the damage justice. Thoughts and prayers for you all.
Thanks to Edisto Beach police for the pictures they posted! Ain’t teconogoly great! Prayer for all involved in the storm repairs, have neighbors with the local power co. sent down at the coast to help restore power. Our church will have a crew working someware next week!
I’ve been on the beach the past couple of days and have walked large stretches and driven the rest. 100-1000 blocks have anywhere from 4-6 foot of sand up to second row. Was surprised by the lack of wind damage but even more surprised about the amount of waster/surge damage. Would imagine we will see multiple first row houses in the first 10 blocks condimed but don’t know.
Prayers for those with damage from Matthew. Edisto will see an almost 8’ high tide this weekend and early next week… Imagine how much worse that would have made it.
The curfew was abandoned for residents and I am pretty positive anyone when the check point was taken down on Friday. As far as the restaurants go Ella and Ollies faired very well along with Pressley’s, Whayles had some water come in but nothing terrible, Dockside had a few feet of water but will be fine, heard the Waterfront and the Pavilion suffered some reasonably significant damage and it may be a little while before they open
