Need bait foe upcoming shark turny has anyone been catching any rays? Looking for the sting type or cow nose.

winter time i usually caught a few off folly pier on any given trip. most were about dinner plate sized but of course some bigger.
How many would you need? From the surf, I catch them quite often around the low tide just outside the secondary sand bar. This weekend is a late afternoon low tide. Could be good. Solunar Table not to good but ya never know. Looks like it will be a little chilly as well.

Stono inlet has the spiny rays that come in the winter time, I’ve been catching them on cut bait mullet and shrimp, they seem to school like other rays because you usually get double and triple hook ups at the same time. They are really good at tangling up lines with all there spines.
