I have been asked to testify at an oversight hearing on the reauthorization of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in Washington DC with the Committee on Natural Resources.
As many of you know I have put many hours and days in to what is going on in our fisheries trying to make a change for us. I have made three trips to Washington DC over the last two years to visit with Congressmen and Senators about the issues that are going on in our fisheries.
At this hearing I have been ask to testify about recreational and charter boat fishing issues here on the east coast. I will be talking for you all at this hearing.
I NEED YOUR HELP!
My fellow fishermen Im asking you for your HELP in getting to this hearing in Washington DC on March 13th. As you all know Im a charter boat captain and commercial fishermen. With all the fisheries closer last year and this year, I do not have the money this year to do this on my own. I also will be passing on three charters that I have booked for the days Im going to the hearing. Im asking for Donations to help with airfare, 2 days of motel and taxi fares.
