127 on the FBI’s terrorist watch list have been caught coming into our country across the unsecured border over the last year. 110,000 Fentanyl deaths in 2022 and on track for even more in 2023. Human trafficking and child sex slaves brought across the border. I know it’s easy not to worry about it when it gets hidden away and does not directly involve a person.

In my view MN has always been quick to lend a hand or sage advice when asked and even when not asked, on construction, fishing, business, and just good horse sense.

I beg to differ. We could use another couple dozen just like him around here.
He wants to fish all the time and at least weekly asks someone to come fish with him, usually a stranger or someone from here.

For any Old timers returning This post is not a joke. Politics still exists On CFC, it has just been removed from public view as many believe the content is too harsh for any children visiting CFC. I’ll agree some content was pretty rough with no moderators to clean it up. That has since changed.

Dear EF and other mods,
Thank you all for sweeping up around here. I have hope for the future of the site as a fishing resource, a way to make contacts that become actual real world friends, a way for me to learn new things, and a fun place to BS about things I like.
Since you offered though, please do remove me from the political realm, as I have never and will never care to discuss such things on the internets. Same reason I don’t have bumper stickers or social media anymore- simply not my chosen means of expressing my opinions or digesting others’. No ill will towards the happenings in the “basement”, but glad it is compartmentalized all the same.
I sincerely hope everyone’s literal and metaphorical gardens are getting the right balance of rain and sunshine.

MN, what other capabilities are specific to the “regular” status? I’d like to think i’m a fairly simple man…
If you click on “badges” in the upper right corner, scroll down to Regular, TL-3, you’ll see a brief synopsis of the amenities afforded to those with that status.
I’m good with letting the Politics Forum wither on the vine.
If you’ll check the top 100 most viewed, there rarely more than 4or 5 from that forum.
Despite what the basement dwellers so often preach, the Politics Forum is mostly dead to most who frequent the site.
