How long before we find out the rest of the dates and locations? … sure hope Chars. will still be included.
Sounds like fun and a real challenge to find all 3, especially in late March.
Good job Hobie kayaks!
On a side note: I took the motor boat out w/ a friend yesterday and we landed 5 flounder, 5-8 ratreds, and maybe 8 trout in Bushy area. Only one keeper (18 or so inch flounder).
This is great news and I plan to make a number of these tournaments next year. I’ve never caught a saltwater fish on artificial lures so I need to make some trips to the coast and get cracking.
I’m thinking hard about making that one. I have pretty low expectations for myself since I’ve never fished with artificials in the salt before, but I’d love to give it a shot in the very first tournament of what will hopefully become a mainstay for kayak fishermen.
last week was my first trip on the water without LB. Felt like i was going out to fish with a bare hook, guess the confidence will come. I am def going down to the IFA if a anyone wants to split costs hit me up.
REGISTRATION AND CAPTAINS MEETING. Registration will be open through the Captain’s
Meeting at 6:30pm, Saturday, Sept 19, 2009 at Parrish Park, Titusville, FL. Here’s the link to the entry form: http://www.redfishtour.com/kayaks/2009%20kayak%20fishing%20tourn%20entry%20form.pdf Leaving either Friday or early Saturday morning still open there.
s1, that’s awesome. Good luck to you in the tournament. I plan on seeing you there and will introduce myself when I do. I’ll be driving a brick red Native Manta Ray 12 with a big decal on both sides that says “Quail Haven Hunt Club” which is where I guide.
I am looking to fish the Tournament and I would like to travel with anyone else from the charleston area. I have room for two extra people plus equipment. (Chevy 3500) I would like to pre-Fish Sat.
The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad. </font id=“size2”> Hobie Adventure Kayak </font id=“size2”> 24’ Wellcraft </font id=“size2”>

And what happened when you put a finger mullet on?
Made the drive down to Titusville today and was not to bad of a drive. Most of the guys fishing the tourney are staying at the Best Western. For those making the trip just give me a call at the Hotel or PM me for my number.
