Hello all I am new here. I’ve been reading through the threads trying to glean some info on fishing Edisto. I’ve been visiting and fishing in the summers for the last 10 years. I’m bringing my 17’ Whaler with 90 hsp ETEC. Last year I fished Big Bay and Fishing Creek with little success on Reds and Trout. Caught plenty of sharks and rays in the sound with cut bait. I was looking for some information on Otter Island. Fishing locations, bait, tackle etc for larger reds and trout. Any help would be appreciated. I’m also looking to buddy with someone out to the 40. Never been and want to buddy up on my first trip. I’ll be there the week prior to Memorial day. Thanks!
Might consider chartering on your first day to get some local knowledge, then apply that for the rest of your trip and trips to come.
My choice would be Ron Davis 843-513-0143

Ron Davis will teach you more in one trip than you could learn by yourself in 20 “vacations”.

I’ll for sure look up Ron! Thanks yall
