Headed to Port Royal in the morning. Was planning to get offshore but the weather isn’t cooperating. Anyone want to give some pointers for a decent inshore bite? I figure we have (3) choices… troll the Broad River for macks, beat the banks for reds, or anchor up for sharks and hope for something better. Thanks in advance!!
Anyone got any tips on how to successfully target the jacks? I have always wanted to catch one. It seems whenever I see them, they move to fast for me to effectively sight cast to them.
I know people do it all the time…thanks for any help!
It was pretty choppy Friday morn. Loaded up with menhaden in Station Creek. Road around and didn’t see much life. Anchored up on PI Reef and caught a few BSB, whiting, tons of small sharks and a 8’ nurse. Moved to the bridge @ lunch but not much doing there. Had a good time but not exactly what we were looking for. The Waterfest on Saturday was a much different story!!
