I’m new to Charleston Fishing and now that I’m reading the posts, I kick myself for not joining sooner! Anyway, we’re headed to Edisto for a week starting May 9th. I’ve already made arrangements with the marina for a slip.
We’re from Atlanta (Dunwoody area). The “Admiral” will be accompanying me as well as our son (senior at Auburn). This will be our second time to the island but our first with the boat. Usually we go to HHI or down to the Gulf. I’m pretty familiar with boating/fishing around Hilton Head and boated the ICW a good bit, mostly down to Savannah and up to Beaufort. I’m pretty clueless about boating/fishing around Edisto. We’re open to what ever - inshore or nearshore (up to 30 miles or so, conditions permitting).
Hopefully, we’ll get a chance to meet some of you during our stay - we’re reallly looking forward to it! By the way, I have a ton of questions to ask, but first I thought an introduction would be a good way to start.
