I definitely got to fish more. Seems lately my priorities have been a little goofed up. Anyways…
On the beach 11:00ish, light north wind, nice sunshine, light surf. Tide was up, finding the hole took a bit of searching. Another baby Black Drum day, a few nice Whiting and a very healthy Bonnethead, pretty sure my biggest. Packed up around 3:30.
Nice job Mr. Parker you seem to have those Black Drum dialed in and good looking bonnet head bet he was a nice fight.
Great pics I finally made it thru IOP its my first time surf fishing there…Catch some whitings and Blue Fish… All I can say its better than my yesterday experience at Sullivan’s although I might still try out some area in sullivan… Its a change for me from typical pier fishing to surf fishing I can see now the difference between the two as a beginner like me…
Thanks Pete, just wish I had more time to find the bigger fish. Not a big fan of fallig tides, all I had today though. And the Bonnet was a bruiser, for a Bonnet. Didn’t have the tape, was a good 3-1/2’ and made several good runs on the lighter set-up.
