In case you missed it, it was a REALLY nice day on the beach today. Wind offshore early to onshore late afternoon. Fished incoming tide all day…YEA! But evidently the fish did not like the great weather or the tide. Fresh shrimp and cut Whiting all day. Zero bites on cut bait. Managed a half dozen or so Whiting, one Dodfish and a Cownosed Ray. On the beach about 10:45 off at about 5:00…I tried.
Also ran into Jarvis on the beach, as we were both leaving, chatted briefly. Nice guy.
Yes Sir Sunday was beautiful, too bad I had to pack up and head home. At least you got to feel the rod dip a bit, and Mrs Parker probably enjoyed those blue skies:smiley: Good day to ya Sir.
Weather was indeed awesome! Slow day for us too but with weather like that who cares. Still great to be out. From the water temps, the bait just starting to move in, and the number of birds and surface blow ups we saw, we’re getting CLOSE!
