Started out around 3pm first time trying out my new Okuma Avenger Baitfeeder Reels out of my 3 fishing pole only the new Okuma catch a fish and its my first Black drum of the year . I think I believe in beginners luck myth lol…
This hook got cut after I position the fish properly otherwise it get away…
I fish those Avengers, good reel for the money.

avengers are great reels for the money! i hate baitcasters with a firey burning passion so the baitfeeder on a spinning reel is a great feature for the surf. i have a 65 weight and its held up to 45lb blue cats, sharks up to 6 feet long, snapper/grouper, bonefish, and even a giant trevally. drum looks great keep it up!
