I headed out to IOP today and fished the low tide. Not my favorite but I wanted to fish. I fished for about and hour and a half and caught 3 small sharks. I could barely get the rod back to the beach and there was either a fish on or no bait.
The wind did not help today as it was really blowing.
On a cool side note…a couple people caught a 3 ft alligator in the surf down the beach from me. I have no idea what I would do if that was me other than cut the line. Apparently, they netted the gator and took it to a fresh water pond. It guess it is somoeone else’s problem now.
