hit the beach from 6-8 with the wife and daughter for a quiet evening. the trough was alive with mullet. got several cutoffs and a couple runs that missed the hook. pulled a big lady up to the beach after a few good jumps. all bites on freshly caught live mullet or chunks of it. should just be getting better over the next few weeks.
Over at IOP the mullet were up in surf? Folly area they were some distance out. Looks like need hit IOP not folly this week ha. Good report
Should have been 9/1. And yes iop troughs were a river of bait at low tide. Folly is a mess after that renourishment. It may be next year till its worth a go on the beach over there. Inlet areas may still be productive
